Around 4.2 million orphans across Pakistan are born into a harsh reality. Will they work in the markets and mines or go to school? Will they be trafficked into slavery or will they be free? Will they be child soldiers or students? Many children grow up in a daily life marked by violence; images of war, abuse, persecution and loss of family. These traumatized children suffer from depression, nightmares, loss of self-worth and are often a source of future aggression.

Orphan Care is another support program designed by the Rehmat Ali Foundation for orphans from disadvantaged backgrounds. Under this program, orphaned children selected for support continue to live with their mothers or other guardians in the event of the death of both parents. While this program provides the necessary financial support for education and day-to-day finances for orphans. On the other hand, Rehmat Ali Foundation aims to build "Al-Rehmat Yateem Khana" for housing and other needs of orphans.
